Help Deciding Freshman Summer Internship

Freshman at HYP, have offers for both ER at Stifel Financial and PE at Fortress Investment Group. Very interested in HF world as an end goal, what sets me up best for recruiting to IB/PE/ER seats junior summer/postgrad?

Because it sounds like you’re flexing/meme post. Freshman summer isn’t too consequential, go where you find interesting, plus if you go to those schools and landed those spots you should have plenty of network to ask their thoughts/look at their path

A lot of the posts here are from people trying to reach more experienced people who they normally wouldn’t have access to. You’re looking for insight into what kind of freshman internship helps with junior recruiting, when you’re surrounded at school by juniors/seniors who have just gone through junior summer recruiting and did freshman internships 1-2y ago. That’s the best pool of advice you could have. I can’t imagine asking your older friends what they thought of their past experiences and what type of things you should try to do to end up at the very places where they are would be viewed as tasteless. I’m sure you guys casually talk about recruiting all the time in clubs.
