Houston non-energy PE scene

Anyone have any insights to any Houston, non-energy PE shops? Looking for both list of firms that exist and any reputations / thoughts, etc.

Off the top of my head (but please add any, this definitely isn't all of them):

Main Street

Sterling

Cap Street

[Any Others]

Thanks

Agree that Sterling and CapStreet are the top options. Also generally speaking are the two (non energy) firms in Houston that are the most standard MM PE for recruiting. Pre-MBA juniors, Post-MBA midlevel and up.

Any more color on the Main Street pay & culture? Know they like to hire analysts off campus and are willing to direct promote to all levels.. probably has something to do with the lower pay. Some of the newer non-energy shops listed are being founded by former Main - Genesis and Clovis seem to have Main backgrounds. Is the turnover mentioned primarily at the top, bottom, or all levels?

Have heard pay is definitely below market, but WLB is pretty chill. Tho hard to judge quality of the fund when capital pool is fixed (public)
