How do you find a Good LBO to pitch?
How do you find a Good LBO to pitch? Should you use stock screeners? How do I narrow it down to try to model it and then analyze the company. Thanks!

I think I would just take one of your sellside bake-offs your team did and flip the analysis for a prime LBO pitch. The only real difference would probably be sanity checking the assumptions made in valuation and then having true critical analysis of weaknesses so it doesn’t sound so market y-y.
Alternative is taking a book where your team has a list of company profiles in the back listed as potential M&A targets, then do your own analysis of one of those companies (probably easiest this direction to pick a public co.) - if you want to be more original.
Don’t reinvent the wheel.
