I'll be an SA this summer and am very interested in MF recruiting after full-time starts. Is there any value to asking current MF PE guys I've spoken to about their connections to headhunters? How much will knowing current PE associates/analysts help if I keep in contact with them?
Basically what is the best way to position myself early to do well in the MF process?
