How is Goldman's Infrastructure Fund seen?
Question: How is "Goldman Infra" seen by the world? (World being PE firms you might want to join later, headhunters who might place you, etc.) May seem like an obvious question because it's Goldman Merchant Banking Division, but it's not PIA, their infra fund is seperate. Anybody ever heard anything about it? Know whether it's as prestigious as I'd think or whether it's like Goldman Real Estate and it would actually be a bad detour? Hypothetically speaking ...
Also curious: I don't know, but I was thinking it'd be viewed almost as well as PIA (Capital Partners). But again, I'm waiting to see what others say.
