How to negotiate comp?
Do you start with the higher end of the base comp range they provided in the job description? How do you negotiate bonus? Are there any other stuff to negotiate?

Can't speak for anything role higher but at the VP/Associate level for UMM/MF there really isn't negotiating (even probably for MM + established LMM shops).
Only time you would 'negotiate' would be for first time funds
So it’s just accepting whatever comp they offer? The job description had a pretty wide range.
Can you confirm the title/role and fund maturity (first time or no)?
So let's say it's a first time fund, how do you go about it? Asking for a friend...
In that case, there's generally more flexibility than a mature fund. I'd look at the various components (base, bonus, carry) and decide what matters to you most, then give in one area to maximize another (e.g., vocalize that you're not asking for more base but in turn, believe that you should receive more carry (per XYZ benchmark or study), etc.).
Should be ongoing conversation imo
