How to passively recruit for PE/HF?

I lateraled from BB -> EB in March this year. I’m loving it and would like to stick out banking here as long as I can. T2 city with awesome comp, super low hours comparatively, and overall super chill environment.

That being said, I wouldn’t mind getting contacted about umm/mf PE and HF opportunities despite not actively seeking it. A lot of colleagues from both the BB and EB who exited to big PE shops and HFs say the recruiter reached out to them. I only ever get emails about

No good recruiter is just blasting out opportunities to an email list - CPI (or the handful of other good HHs) want to meet you, make sure you’re normal, and talk about preferences before they send you stuff. So the process here would be to fill out those intake forms, do an intro meeting, and then they’ll send stuff.

I’d just meet with them and say you’re selectively looking for opportunities but won’t leave your current role for anything less than the perfect opportunity

Just out of curiosity, what city? LA? Sounds like a gold mine.
