How to stay on top of private markets

Hello everybody, I just quit my job as an allocator specifically within private markets and will not reenter the industry because I have a serious illness. I can do some work so I wanted to ask if there are ways that I can keep my skills refined through modeling courses, reading industry reports on private equity, real estate, private credit and natural resources. Do you have any suggestions?
