Just saw a post saying that most BB's are cutting down work forces by 2-3% this year and was wondering how this would affect recruiting for 2024 internship at EB, BB, and smaller MM PE firms. Coming from non HYPSM target school with semi decent gpa (3.7ish) and a previous small PE internship. Still unsure what the trends are and how long freezes will last.
