If you were to invest private capital today, which sectors/themes would you focus on?

Where do you see opportunity? Which themes are in their early innings?

Lots of talk on this forum about jobs/comp/etc, not enough about pockets where people see unsaturated opportunities.

Strip clubs. Not even kidding. Check out RCI Hospitality. Small cap that's encountered major success with good strip club M&A strategy. You don't have to compete with traditional private equity asset classes in the space because of ESG so there are a ton of really good deals out there. It's like an industry not ravaged (made-efficient) by institutional investors yet. The market is never gonna die unless men stop wanting sex. Regulations prevent new strip clubs from opening, giving current open ones a moat in their respective regions. Society becoming more liberal, sex workers more accepted and more mainstream, so likely existing clubs won't face regulatory concerns. Unit economics are great because strippers pay you beforehand to let them dance in your club for the night. You make like 80% of your revenue from Alcohol + strippers paying you their "rent" so its low-capital-intensity. There are cross-sell opportunities with digitalization in the space as well.
