Impact of NYC 14 Day Quarantine Order on Buyside Recruiting

How will the new order by NY/CT/NJ of anyone traveling from hotspots (FL/AZ/NC/SC/TX etc.) impact the ability of people in those spots to recruit for the buyside? Will Headhunters and Firms more likely be more open to Skype meetings/interviews for on cycle?

have talked to a prominent headhunter (think CPI, Amity, HSP) - they told me that they wouldn't be surprised to see a largely virtual process. Friends at certain MFs also don't anticipate going back into the office until 2021 and have stated that virtual recruiting is entirely possible, which leads me to believe they're leaning towards it

Some MM firms are also discussing delaying a bit - people have said MFs will delay too but I'm skeptical about that. Would agree that if it goes September or earlier, will be largely virtual - recruiters have been doing virtual intros (not for first years) since March so it will not be anything new.

i may be misunderstanding, but wdym recruiters have been doing virtual intros since March? who are they doing the intros with if not the incoming first years? off cycle candidates?
