Basically what the title says. How much weight is placed on the coverage group to exit to PE after. For example, do you have to be in TMT to go to a tech focused PE shop? Would it be better to join an industry-agnostic group such as M&A, LevFin, and FSG even if there is a coverage group at the bank that is considered to be stronger?
