Anyone know of legit firms who do industry studies for LMM deals ($10-50mm)? Friend of mine just moved to a new shop and is trying to find companies who produce quality work for smaller transactions. Places like LEK and such are out of their price range.
Any and all recommendations would be a huge help.

Depends on what industry the deal is in. There are TONS of smaller, boutique, industry-focused consulting firms that do quality PE diligence work. Hard to provide a recommendation without knowing which industry(ies) your friend's firm needs help with.
I think they are looking to do healthcare and then all the standard type industrial companies (value add distribution, speciality manufacturing, yada yada yada).
You ever worked with any good ones you could recommend or know where I could find a list of a few? Really appreciate any tips.
Acclaro is great for industrial companies in that size range. Look up Russ Chapman. I’ve done probably close to 10 deals with Russ and he does a great job.
