Infra PE Compensation 2023

It sounds like infra PE roles have lower compensation than regular buyout, but haven’t been able to find any details. There’s a lot of different types of funds but looking for general info on how much you can expect to make at a fund making equity investments in power, utilities, infrastructure, renewables, etc.

Any infrastructure investment professionals on WSO that can provide color on comp (salary and bonus) for Associates, Senior Associates, and VPs?

All impressive numbers. Interestingly it seems like there is a haircut to investment banking pay (which starts at $175k base for associates) but you still get to 200-300k all in depending on cost of living. At that point a few extra grand doesn’t mean much.

Have you felt like there’s been more interesting work, better hours, better peers and do you plan to stay?

Not sure where OP heard about the infra haircut, but doesn't seem true from what I heard from friends going to MFs and UMMs. Curious to see what the market pay for MF PE / other infra PE shops are
