I interned in MBB and i really liked the problem solving aspect of the job. I was wondering if PE is as intellectual or if it is repetitive. I tried to real as many WSO posts as i could but it seems that people have polar opposite opinions.

It is definitely not intellectual
Every job has repetitive and grunt work aspects, especially as a junior. PE is in my opinion much more interesting than others but the asterix is that you have to work 1.5-2x as many hours in a day.
