Is there a connection with PE and restaurants?
I'm not sure if this is a thing or not, but is there a connection between PE and the restaurant industry? I'm fascinated about the industry, hopefully can partner with someone in the future and/or start a restaurant of my own?
I'm also super interested in PE and finance. I was wondering if there's a career in this or if there's a connection between the two? Can I reach out to multiple restaurant owners, somehow work in the finance department for them (I don't know?), create some kind of fund or come up with something creative that will generate money?
Not uncommon to see PE firms in the franchising space.
