Is there a place to find a database of firms that have recently raised new funds?

Title says all, looking to see about which firms are raising new funds. Most newsletters mention when they close funds, I'm looking to find when they are in the middle of or start fundraising.

Private Equity Short Resume Review / Recap

“Very good planning prior to the meeting and effective notes that allowed the session to go quickly and effectively. We covered a lot of topics on the resume and I recieved a good amount of notes that I can correct my resume in order to make it more specific for the PE companies I will work with. Was very helpful in the way of bringing out niche skills I have in order to maximise my chances at differentiating myself from more typical IB candidates. Also provided good insights on the MBA process, what is valuable and the WHY side of P.E. which I will go into depth with in my WHY statements that I am going to do. ”

Interested as well. There may be some way to leverage placement agencies here as well (those who help originate funds by helping potential GPs to raise capital from LPs), as they are responsible for a significant portion of overall $ raised (though higher-pedigreed and higher-quality teams don't use them)

Preqin has data on roughly how much is actively being raised (i.e. not closed) by asset class/geography, etc.; but I have no idea how accurate this information is.
