KKR Real Estate Credit + Interview

Does anyone know what this team actually does? It’s fairly vague on the website, and they don’t disclose a lot of information about deal flow. Additionally, I have a R1 interview for the group (already did the Hirevue), and I don’t know the interview structure for the firm…

Absolute machine of a team. Good culture, training, and career progression, altho can be a bit bank-like in their operations / process / memo quality etc. Leadership is extremely good and the team overall has good buy-in from KKR senior management as they've been helpful in deploying the insurance capital. They have a few strategies, and can do opportunistic levered credit / vanilla senior out of insurance co / CMBS etc. Good launchpad even if REC isn't your thing - you can see some recent exits from the team into REPE / startups / MBA.
