Large cap tech PE rankings?

What’s the general consensus on MFPE/UMM tech PE players?

Off the top of my head:
Pure-play tech players: SL, TB, Vista

UMM pure plays with $10B+ funds: FP, Clearlake, HG , Veritas (not sure if this counts as tech; more gov tech services than software)

Agnostic US MFPE with strong tech teams: H&F, WP, Advent

Agnostic EU MFPE with strong tech teams: EQT, Permira, Apax

Traditional US MFPE with tech: BX, KKR, CD&R

How do all of these compare? Why do some (e.g. BX, KKR, H&F ) have better exits into HF than pure plays counterparts (e.g. TB)? Which is considered the top coveted space to be in terms of a long term career vs. top for exits? Curious as to people’s thoughts on what the top funds are

good lord nobody fucking cares, not even the people who've worked there

there're literally dozens of threads talking about these funds. stop being lazy

Hg is very solid and has a niche in the tax & compliance software space

They also have different funds that invest different check sizes. In tech, they are more active than Apax
