Lateral interview response time

Sr. ASO / VP lateral in a couple processes here. What response time would you expect after the usual 1-2 Zoom sesh first round interviews to hear back for a "superday" / final rounds? My inkling is that because it's not as hectic or urgent as on-cycle ASO recruiting from banking (or even structured off-cycle ran through headhunters), firms might take their time, within reason, to chew over their candidates more, work out a full day of scheduling, make their ultimate decisions, etc.

But that may be just all cope and I could be a dinged man walking. So share either your thoughts or your past process timelines and put me out of my misery / give me a glimmer of hope

It really depends - what I’m finding in my past few processes is that they drag things out, and even if you get invited to super day, they’re still not really sure whether they want to pull the trigger or not after you attend. They Re-evaluate their needs and might not even hire at the end of the day but wanted to dip their toes in their water to see what the market was like. Really frustrating things to see but good luck in what you’re going through
