Leveraging Offers
Currently have an offer at a MF, obviously its a great opportunity, I'm mid-late stages with another MF in a group/industry I like way more. Any tips on how to leverage my current offer for a faster process with the other firm?
Depends how mid-late stages, many will not accelerate unless you have a final round scheduled. You can always try though.
Hard to tell what stage you are at but I would email your recruiter/HH/contact that you have an offer from a competitor but much prefer their firm, is it possible to move the remaining interview process up before your offer expires on x date?
Best to be straightforward, and say that you have an existing offer, but would very much like the opportunity to speak to the rest of the team/go forward with the process. If your offer is exploding then let them know as well. Once you tell them that, they should get back to you quickly. They may accelerate you if they really like you.
