Leveraging Your Coinvest as an Associate

Heading to a shop that allows associates to coinvest across the life of a fund. How should I be thinking about coinvesting as an associate at a place that isn't a 2-year stint? Generally was looking at what different returns could look like, and I would appreciate any insight on what the interest payments associated with coinvest leverage typically look like. Thanks!
