No inside info. But looks like a clown show from the outside. Only two associates, and 10 more senior folks, VP and higher. One VP with only 2 years in PE? What is going on here?

They are washed up seniors from Ares / very awkward on the junior side.

As much as it pains me to admit it, they weren’t washed up Ares partners. Nav had an insane track record there, his net IRRs on all deals was in the 30s & Adam’s investment in Floor & Decor drove outsized carry $$ in fund III (it was 10x+). He did have a couple of duds though.

no idea what current track record looks like though. I interviewed with them and found Nav to be pretty nice, albeit a bit intense. He’s a sharp guy

“Partner who serves as chief compliance officer and head of business operations”

Interviewed here last year. Good returns for their first fund and just closed a $1B fund II. Focus is on Healthcare, Business Services and Consumer Services. Still a young fund but they seem to want to write bigger checks with their partners’ backgrounds and look at some interesting stuff (they said they did lots of distressed credit stuff during COVID). More Associates than what there was 3 years ago.
