MBA Grades for PE Recruiting

I am curious if PE firms typically care about grades from MBA programs. I recognize that the entire recruiting process post-MBA is unstructured, opportunistic, and typically quite variable. However, I was wondering if anyone knows first hand whether GPA in business school is something that is typically or even sometimes considered when looking at a banking associate or anyone else who is trying to move from the sell-side to the buy-side.
