Meeting With Someone In Private Equity On Friday ADVICE NEEDED

I have been cold emailing firms the past week and got an email from a legal counsel ? at a large PE firm.

He said they get tons of resumes sent in and can't fit everyone but he would love to meet me on friday to talk about why I would fit in and my plans.

He said he would add me to the list.

This seems like my last shot as I finish my exams in 3 weeks and I am off for the summer and don't want to be working an odd job.

How should I approach this, should I just offer to work for free if they don't offer me anything ? I have never had an internship and I am a first year undergrad in a non target.

I have a pretty interesting story though, I dropped out of med school and owned a content website that got over 600,000 visits in 3 years that I started when I was 17.
