Mobility to PE / distressed from ABF

I've received an offer to join a top asset-backed finance team (KKR/Apollo) as ASO1 but am more interested in PE or at least something riskier / fast-paced in the credit world than ABF.

What does mobility to other firms that specialize in those areas from an ABF role look like?
