Mubadala Growth ?

Any insights on Mubadala on the growth equity (tech) side ?

With regards to deal flow, team, WLB, culture, pay, etc. ?

In particular London team but any feedback would be helpful

I don’t really know how these SWF work, anything to consider vs. a traditional PE fund ?

No insights on Mubadala in particular, but in general there are a few things to consider vs. a traditional PE fund. Job security is typically higher because you have permanent capital. Total comp differs as you get more senior since you don't get carry at a SWF. For buyout PE, SWFs often only do co-invest and piggyback on the DD conducted by the PE fund. Since you don't really source deals or do DD from scratch, hours are often better vs. PE funds. The environment is also much more political. I've heard that especially for the middle-eastern SWFs, the more senior people are often there because of nepotism. If you're not a national, there is often a glass ceiling in terms of progression.
