Need PE FT 27 Recruitment Advice

Currently rising senior going into IB this summer looking into recruiting some FT PE roles that don't do summer analyst programs (ex. Warburg Pincus). How do you prepare for these interviews? Never done an LBO because I'm not a finance/biz/econ major but I'm in the finance clubs at my school and have a decent role lined up this summer. And what is the networking policy? Heard some it's frowned upon sometimes? Need advice + things to read thanks
