Networking Through Friend with 0 Banking Experience

Been working in sorta corporate finance, have some deal experience, but compared to 2-year bankers that are comparable to my age, I have basically 0 real modeling experience and haven't made a PPT bigger than 10 pages.

So if I were to even get to a first round PE interview they would quickly pick one of the many iBankers over me.

That being said, I have a very special connection with a kid who is an all-star, currently at HBS, with PE experience and banking experience. He actually really likes me too and I teach him a lot about getting girls and going out having fun. (He spends all the huge amount of money he makes chasing women.. to no avail)

I just want to know how you guys would approach: 1)Networking generally with him and 2) specifically networking to have him get me some interviews / put me in front of people. But imagine I have like 0 technical skills. How much of PE is pure fit and how hard is it for me to overcome other candidates who have better deal resumes and technical knowledge?
