Not prepared for PE interview - Cancel?
Have a PE interview tomorrow that I am grossly underprepared for - don't think I would take the job if offered, the interview is more for practice. That being said, I am afraid of ruining the relationship with the HH and being embarrassed in the interview. Thinking of saying I am sick and potentially rescheduling.
For additional context, located in a region that is quite a small market with limited number of funds and HHs. Any advice / thoughts would be appreciated!

I know someone (not in the finance industry) who delayed his interview by using COVID as an excuse (eg “I’m isolating at home with a high fever”). I wouldn’t have done it myself, but the excuse is there if you want to use it.
Come think of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if “I can’t meet/come in/interview because of COVID” is a massively overused excuse.
