TMT IMO is the group to be in at Novacap, though the others are great as well.

 

Novacap is an incredible firm and I agree with the above post saying TMT is the best group to be in given their recent fund, I keep seeing them announce new deals on my LinkedIn. 

Whitehorse is also a good firm, but I haven't heard good things about them recently and they work in secondaries which might not be for everyone.

 

How long do you have before you need to make up your mind? I mean, both of those are legit shops that will pay very well so how much better do you want to aim for? I think starting in direct PE is a better place than secondaries, but secondaries is growing more as a strategy.
