Interned at Novacap previously - happy to answer any questions here publicly if you have them.
TMT IMO is the group to be in at Novacap, though the others are great as well.
can I dm u?
I PMd you.
can you PM me? I have questions as well!
Nova haha. They’re a great shop and you’ll get a super valuable experience to leverage into a variety of other options if you leave. WH is pretty niche, and there is an entire thread on the firm right now for you to go through
Novacap is an incredible firm and I agree with the above post saying TMT is the best group to be in given their recent fund, I keep seeing them announce new deals on my LinkedIn.
Whitehorse is also a good firm, but I haven't heard good things about them recently and they work in secondaries which might not be for everyone.

How long do you have before you need to make up your mind? I mean, both of those are legit shops that will pay very well so how much better do you want to aim for? I think starting in direct PE is a better place than secondaries, but secondaries is growing more as a strategy.
Is this for FT or an internship?

One is secondaries PE and one is an investment bank, two very different firms
