Offer Decision - Tech IB / Large Cap PE / MM PC

Need advice on next steps...

Got a few internship offers on the table (+ a FT IB offer at a MM Bank, good name but will be hard to place into buy-side seat) and not sure what to pursue.

Background: IB, RX, PC, PE. Quite bullish on the PC route given striking the right balance between interesting workstreams, W/L, and remuneration, along with potentially skipping the banking years. But also find PE interesting, given the extra depth in terms of diligence + the whole value creation aspect, but appreciate tricky to get a junior seat without time in banking. In my situation what would be the key considerations I should take into account and your overall thoughts on the opportunity I should pursue?

Roles:

- Tech IB Boutique: think (Qatalyst, Arma, LionTree, FTP) convertible to full-time (historically low)

- Large Cap PE: think (Cinven, Astorg, PAI, HIG) non-convertible

- MM PC: think (Apera, Pemberton, Bridgepoint, Muzinich) convertible to full-time (historically high)

No idea what you want to do long-term so this is purely subjective.

If it's Qatalyst you take that and don't look back, they're heads & shoulders above the other 3 IBs and arguably the best TMT banking seat no comparison needed. LionTree is best if you're more interested in media vs pure tech. If it's neither of those, large cap PE all day because you'll have no problem recruiting for IB/PE for FT and the name will look better than an Arma/FTP. MM PC is probably the least interesting of any of the options unless you're specifically interested in credit, in which case taking that's a no brainer.

This is Europe. Qatalyst is nowhere near the competition, Arma much stronger

Intern, be quiet. Get back in your cage.
