Operating Associate Salary Expectations
I have an introductory call with a MM firm (~1-1.5B fund size) in a 3rd tier( Texas/Florida/Colorado) for an operating associate role. The headhunter said all-in comp was 200K. Is this in-line with what I should be expecting?
I'd be leaving MBB after 2 years so this would be a step-up, but isn't quite as large as I'd hope for.
Any insight on the base salary, how I would expect operating associate role salary trajectory to differ from deal-team trajectory, and/or potential for carry would be appreciated.
