Ops Internship at well-known PE or IB SA at mid bank?
basically title, but need to decide between the two soon. Being frank, not very married to idea of IB, more interested in going mba route and then vc/growth. trying to decide what could be better for career progression, already have vc experience at some well known firms in the space
IB for sure - would set up a greater framework than you would get in ops

Just an intern, but it seems like your options are either do IB for two years which will be challenging and then go growth VC or wtvr it was you wanted, or work in ops/IR for a few years, hope to get into a good MBA program, spend $250k and then hopefully get the job you actually want. It seems to me you have much better chances at a much lower cost to just put in your time doing IB and exiting. Just my 2 cents.
