PE Analyst Case Study

Hi all, I have a case study for a LMM PE software focused shop. They said it would be an hour to do the case and an hour for discussion. Should I expect an excel model or like a paper lbo or something else. Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Any chance I can PM? Apologies but I couldn’t find a relevant thread that details this.

further clarity on this is that they said I will have to evaluate an investment opportunity using both qualitative analysis and valuation methodologies and all materials will be provided. So no excel I am assuming?

Thanks for elaborating mate, do you believe there’s a chance I will open up excel or make a memo from this? Believe I’m set on the paper Lbo, right now I my trying to come up with good frameworks to evaluate an investment and essentially what constitutes a good investment financially? You believe this is reasonable?
