PE Deal Activity and Staffing

General trend in private equity seems to be smaller, but more frequent deals. Growth in MM and LMM is probably driving a lot of this.

Curious what others think this will mean for staffing? Will the increase in deal activity lead to more hiring broadly across PE or are deal teams just absorbing the extra deal flow by spending less time on each deal?
