PE firm's portfolio company going under

Firm has under 65 bill under management. I am employed as a credit analyst by the their portfolio company in the sub/prime consumers leases field.

Just got off of a team meeting with VP and COO basically saying the parent company are having trouble giving us funding and they don't know the future of our employment.

I guess I gotta jump ship. I know the VP who I report to works under another company in equipment finance. Should I ask around to see if I can get another position within the firm, should I talk to my VP or the MD in assetmanagement who looks over the fintech sector of 5 companies, which we are included in? or look else where?
