PE Ops Groups with Analyst Programs

Hi all, seeking some career advice as an undergrad... I like the idea of working with business executives on strategy problems.  I know this would set me up for a career in consulting, but I like the idea of working with portfolio companies as there is a greater sense of ownership and less of an emphasis on formatting pretty slides.  So my asks are: Do you know of any PE firms that have operations analyst programs like this? Which are some of the strongest programs? Do any of these programs hire out of undergrad? Would I be better served doing consulting instead?
