What does training look like for PE associate programs, specifically UMM/MF? Is it typically with an outside provider for 4-6 weeks like in investment banking?

No training maybe 2-3 days walking through orientation style. You were trained in banking for 2 years
Is this the case at MFs as well? Thought a few had training programs
