Phone vs Teams for networking calls

I just finished my first year in IB and am looking ahead to what is next - targeting MM and LMM PE in the southeast.

My question is pretty simple: when asking if someone would be willing to hop on a quick call, is it okay to suggest a Teams call (the implication being video) or would you recommend sticking to an old fashioned phone call? 

I'm certainly comfortable on the phone but I do think its easier to connect when both people can see each other.
