Are you interviewing for their Associate role?
Yup. Haven't done the video interview yet but seems like an odd way to do a first round considering it's not a huge firm.
hey do you mind sharing how the interview was like? I'm interested in applying and was hoping I could get a better sense of the firm since as you mentioned, the info on their website is pretty sparse
Yup it is. Maybe they are interviewing a large number of candidates for the first round. I am not fully sure of the current deal flow of the firm as I saw that they haven't done a single deal this year and only 3 last year.
Pitchbook shows 1 this year and 4 last year. So yeah, doesn't seem like the most active fund lately.

I hated it. Definitely some room for improvement with the chatbot. Felt the entire thing was just kinda clunky.

Discussing AI with an AI bot was really awkward.
So the interview was with an AI? Do you need to video conference in for this? And the questions were ALL behavioral based?

So everyone who applied got this first round interview with the robot? That's what I figured, because I have no business interviewing with a vc out of sf. Still gonna chat with Albert and see where it goes
Have you heard back after preliminary screening?
Nope. Tbh, I doubt there was a position to begin with, and that they were just testing out the tech to see if it's something they should invest in.
