Private Equity CRM

We are new firm looking for an easy tech solution to deal tracking, sourcing, and project management. Do you have any recommendations? What does it cost? Is it worth it to build our own solution with the MS platform, PowerApps, etc.?

We already have a solution for the LP CRM and fundraising. Thanks! 192.168.1.254

I have a suggestion based off of my experience. I interned at a search fund earlier this year and we essentially built out that guys crm for free. We used salesforce and parsed through thousands of companies, lenders and business brokers. If you have the management skills I highly recommend hiring a bunch of unpaid interns and letting them go at it. Tons of smart kids unfortunately get suckered into these roles with the way the job market is right now.

DealCloud and Affinity are two of the big ones focused on PE/VC, although I've heard of organizations using Salesforce as well. DealCloud isn't great but it does the job. Not sure about Affinity.

Cost is just going to be per user, depends on organization size.

I don't see a scenario where building your own solution is worth it, unless you have technically capable individuals on staff to not only build it, but also handle upkeep and changes. Which as a new fund, I doubt you have.
