What do you think are good Private Equity dissertation topics?
I would have been extremely interested in something like "What value is left in secondary buyouts", but obviously access to data would probably prove to be extremely difficult.
Another topic i thought of was "Are positive debt incentives on management stronger in highly-leveraged buyouts?" or something along those lines.
Does anyone have other suggestions of interesting PE questions / aspects? Especially the PE guys out here, is there a particular question you have asked yourself and that you think would be interesting to tackle academically?
