Promotion but flat pay - bring it up? Advice please

Hello All,

I had a quick question I wanted to gauge everyone's thoughts on. At a LMM PE fund and I was recently promoted. As part of the promotion my base salary increased to ~$215k, and my target bonus went from 1x salary (~$175k) to $140k. Effectively TC at my target went from $350k (175 + 175) to $355 (215 + 150 - less if you take into consideration half of the year was at the old salary). There is upside for certain goals (sourcing deals / deploying capital), but the "target" cash comp is effectively flat / decreasing for 2024.

Is this something I should bring up? Obviously they know what they are doing, but perhaps something was overlooked. It feels disingenuous to promote but not increase comp... Trying to play the right politics is difficult
