Re-Recruiting Strategies

Hi folks, wanted to gauge what people’s thoughts are about re-recruiting for a full time role different than the junior summer internship. You obviously don’t want to let everyone know you’re shopping around, but at the same time you may be doing yourself a disservice by not looking at what other opportunities are out there (since a return is not guaranteed). What’s the best way to go about this under the radar, and when should one look to ramp up their search?
