Red Flags in PE Firms

Hi all,

I’m a current sophomore interviewing at a west coast PE/Growth equity firm in LA. The firm has a decent aum, but a quick LinkedIn and Glassdoor search shows the firm seems to pay employees far below market range (I.e associates making 110k,  analysts making 50k. It also seems  as though people leave this firm super quickly. Is this opportunity even worth it? Would a middle market IB shop look better if my ultimate goal is BB or EV IB?
