Okay so I am currently an intern at a private equity firm in NY. Recently, HR placed me in my own office where the Managing director usually is(she is out of the country). My problem is that the analysts on my team have desks in the general area while me, a lowly intern has his own desk. Should I ask HR to move me back downstairs in the general intern room in order to avoid jealousy and such or am I overthinking it? Thanks.
