Most common is a pool that's ~10% of common equity. Within that, the prevailing trend is to focus profits interest/equity/RSU grants on the most senior individuals at a portfolio company (i.e., senior leadership team and perhaps 1-2 layers below; think ~15-30 individuals). Title-wise it's c-suite, SVP, etc., TBD on VP, not typically beneath that.

Obviously some portfolio companies have more "long tail" programs that provide equity to like 80% of the company, but I've heard there's general movement away from those programs that are more burdensome to design and manage given incremental paperwork load.

In terms of grant size, will let others opine, but TLDR - I wouldn't expect a grant as an analyst working at a portfolio company.
