Should I stay or should I go? A crossroads

I'm at a crossroads... I love my job, I work with great people & I'm always learning but something's missing...

I joined a newly formed PE/VC firm in London 3 years ago straight from uni. I went to a non-target university and got lucky - they wanted to hire someone who fit the culture & who the team could mould into the analyst/associate they wanted.

For background on the firm, there are 4 of us in the investment team & I'm the only analyst. We invest in a niche part of FinTech but we've done everything from VC to buy-outs to activism. On the VC side, we make 2 or 3 (minority) investments a year and conduct deep DD for the stage (Series A / B). For DD, I do a lot of the modelling heavy lifting & write the initial note for the investment committee and for the exits, I run the deals from a VDR, DD Q&A & liaising between parties point of view ($100m-$200m size deals so nothing special but not insignificant). A similar level of involvement occurs for the activism & buy-outs where I'm taken into management meetings.

Here's where my problem lies... I think I'm learning a lot & the culture is great but I think I could be pushed harder elsewhere which makes me think I should move on. The grass is always greener but if you were in my boat, would you move on? I think growth equity would be a logical step but I'm not sure which probably makes me more hesitant to move.

Any advice greatly appreciated!
