Should I take up this internship?

Hey guys,
So I've been offered an Unpaid internship at a local boutique PE firm (transactions ranging from $5-$100mm). As for me, im a senior at a non-target school(economics) and i just finished a BB PWM internship.

So my question is if i accept it, do you think i will be given any worthwhile exposure/workload that will help me gain good experience and eventually get a job after i graduate (december)?
I'm really not worried about the prestige or anything but im just doubtful that since its an unpaid one, they might leave me doing clerical work...

No, you should work at McDonalds it will give you more experience.

Jesus Christ, take it and try to lateral to something else if you don't like it. As a non-target, you should take it in a heart beat.

haha you're right. was a spoiled brat kind of question but i just asked cause i was just curious on the network opportunities at a boutique firm (cuz ive never been in one before)

If you're going to post a questions like that, you should probably post an alternative? What else do you have on the table?

Play the long game - give back, help out, mentor - just don't ever forget where you came from. #Bootstrapped

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.
